Plan 7–10 days for Seoul, Busan, and one additional destination such as Gyeongju. Allow more time if you want to include Jeju Island or explore smaller cities.

April through May and October through November generally offer the most comfortable weather. Summer is hot, humid, and rainy, while winter can be very cold.

Cards are accepted almost everywhere. Keep some Korean won for markets, small vendors, and occasional transportation-card purchases or reloads.

High-speed trains connect major cities, while subways and buses make urban travel easy. A rechargeable transportation card is useful for local public transit.

Pack comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the season. Bring a compact umbrella and breathable clothing in summer, or insulated layers and a warm coat in winter.
