One full day is enough to see Vaduz and a few nearby attractions. Stay one or two nights if you want to hike, visit mountain villages, or explore at a slower pace.

May through October is best for hiking and outdoor sightseeing. December through March is better for snow activities and winter scenery.

Cards are widely accepted, but carrying a small amount of Swiss francs is useful for small purchases. Some businesses accept euros, although change may be returned in Swiss francs.

Buses connect Vaduz with nearby Swiss and Austrian railway stations. Walking and cycling work well for shorter distances, while a car provides more flexibility in the mountains.

Bring comfortable walking or hiking shoes, layers, and a rain jacket. Mountain weather can change quickly, even during summer.
